Boston Layer-Lapse from Julian Tryba on Vimeo.
Traditional time-lapses are constrained by the idea that there is a single universal clock. In the spirit of Einstein’s relativity theory, layer-lapses assign distinct clocks to any number of objects or regions in a scene. Each of these clocks may start at any point in time, and tick at any rate. The result is a visual time dilation effect known as layer-lapse.

Stardust from PostPanic on Vimeo.
PostPanic director Mischa Rozema’s new short film, Stardust, is a story about Voyager 1 (the unmanned spacecraft launched in 1977 to explore the outer solar system). The probe is the furthest man-made object from the sun and witnesses unimaginable beauty and destruction. The film was triggered by the death of Dutch graphic designer Arjan Groot, who died aged 39 on 16th July 2011 from cancer.

dubassy meets eco caribe from dubassy on Vimeo.
short film capturing the unique city of havana set to a song performed by the inspiring cuban band eco caribe. the film features the band playing in the famous la bodeguita del medio bar and squashed together in the front room of a house, all mixed and mashed together with dramatic skyline time-lapses and street scenes we shot in our too-short 5 days in the city…
havana we hope to be back soon…..love from the dubassy family
